As a 2019-2020 Watson Fellow, I was traveling the world to explore the politics of technology. Then the plague arrived. Now I chafe at confinement, obsessively track my running habits, and ramble into the infinite tube that is the internet!
Yeah, that's this website: ~colander~world~
I write about my travels, discuss what I am reading, and post audio and photos documenting the exploration. My hope is to see how life online (so... everything) shapes our understanding of the world around us.
Previously, I produced public radio at KQED in San Francisco and researched the US Congress at The Brookings Institution in Washington D.C.
I graduated from Pomona College in Los Angeles, where I studied politics and computer science.
